COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY: TRIO OF WEST RUNNERS COMPETE AT PSAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (2022-11-07)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference held their mens and women’s cross country championships at Mansfield University on Saturday, and a trio of West runners competed for their schools.
Former North Penn-Mansfield runner Noah Shedden, a freshman for Lock Haven, finished fourth for the Bald Eagles and 44th overall in the 8K mens’ race in 26:52.9, while Cowanesque Valley’s Seth Neal finished second among Mansfield University runners and 50th overall in 27:07.7.
NPM’s Shelby Alexander competed in the women’s 6K race for the MU Mounties, coming in second for Mansfield and 58th overall in 24:45.3.
Edinboro won the mens’ championship with 33 points, while Lock Haven was fifth with 180 points and MU was 13th with 312 points.
On the women’s side, Edinboro won with 81 points, while Mansfield was 12th with 289 points.
