NP-MANSFIELD'S GREEN HEADLINES ALL-TIOGA COUNTY GOLF TEAM (2022-11-16)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — North Penn-Mansfield’s Andrew Green finished 25th at the State Championships and the senior headlines our All-Tioga County Golf Team as the 2022 ‘Player of the Year’.
Green was the runner-up in the NTL, finished fourth at the District IV tourney and had an average of 82.11 this season in leading the Tigers to a 22-14 record.
Along with Green, freshman Andy Hermansen helped NPM to a 22-win improvement after having gone winless a season ago.
Hermansen finished 10th overall in the NTL in his first year, averaging a 93.33 and earning the NTWSR All-Tioga County ‘Rookie of the Year’ award.
Green and Hermansen are joined on the first team by Cowanesque Valley’s Jordan Vargeson (86.89) and Wellsboro’s Hayden Zuchowski (90.33) and Hannalee Cleveland (92.89).
The All-Tioga County second team includes Wellsboro’s Blake Hamblin (94.63) and Andrew Merriman (102.29), North Penn-Mansfield’s Eli Stein (95.00) and Cowanesque Valley’s Nick West (98.33) and Cayden Moon (101.75).
