COLLEGE FOOTBALL: PIETROPOLA NAMED ALL-PSAC FOR IUP (2022-11-17)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportINDIANA, PA — Wellsboro alum and starting center for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania football team Collin Pietropola was recently named to the All-PSAC West first team, after leading the Crimson Hawks to a 9-1 regular season record and into the NCAA DII Championships.
Pietropola, a redshirt junior, anchors an IUP offensive line that has paved the way for the Hawks to average over 430 yards and nearly 35 points per game.
IUP earned the top overall seed in NCAA Super Region One, securing a first-round bye. The Crimson Hawks will host a playoff game on Saturday, November 26 against either Ashland or Notre Dame (Ohio).
