COLLEGE SWIMMING: WELLSBORO'S BROUGHT BREAKS LYCOMING RECORDS AT MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (2023-02-11)
Northern Tier West Sports Report YORK, PA — Wellsboro grad Cathryn Brought, a member of the Lycoming College Women’s Swim Team, broke an 18-year-old school record to highlight the Warriors’ final day at the MAC Championships on Sunday at the Graham Aquatic Center.
Brought’s preliminary time, 54.27, broke Julia Harahush's 2005 time of 54.39 and then she broke her own record 10 hours later in the event finals with a 54.07 to finish fourth.
The women finished ninth in the standings with 405.5 points.
The school record is Brought’s second, as she also holds the mark in the 100 Individual Medley, 1:02.68.
