COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: NORTH PENN-LIBERTY'S DARBY STETTER TO PLAY AT YORK COLLEGE (2023-05-09)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — North Penn-Liberty senior stand-out Darby Stetter announced that she will be continuing her athletic and academic career at York College and will be a member of the Lady Spartans volleyball team.
Stetter, who was named All-State after both her junior and senior seasons, and was the Northern Tier West Sports Report ‘Player of the Year’ in both seasons as well, racked up over 600 kills, 100 aces and nearly 700 digs in her career for the Lady Mounties.
The Division III Spartans finished 12-15 last season playing in the MAC Commonwealth under Head Coach Dan Mickle.
Mickle also serves as a head coach for the USA Volleyball Beach Paralympic teams, which won gold and silver in the 2019 World Championships in Pingtan, China. Mickle also serves as a Coaching Accreditation Program (CAP) cadre member with USA Volleyball and works as a consultant with numerous professional beach and indoor players across the globe.
