ATHENS — Zack Wilcox, Brody Burleigh and the Tigers’ 4x400 meter relay team each won an event title at Friday’s NTL meet, leading the boys to a 6th place finish while the Lady Tigers finished 9th.

Wilcox won the 800 meter run (1:59.82) and joined with Jett Harold, Cedric Miller and Braeden Johnson to win the 4x400 meter relay (3:34.90), while Brody Burleigh won the javelin (161-00) and Harold was 2nd (153-01).

The Tiger boys scored 72 points to finish 6th. Williamson won the team title with 136 points.

Miller was 4th in the 400 (54.12), Wilcox was 4th in the triple jump (40-05), Burleigh finished 4th in the shot put (42-01) and Harold, Luke Kreger, Jackson Brion and Brady Stetter finished 4th in the 4x100 meter relay (46.14).

The Tigers’ 4x800 meter relay team of Burleigh, Riley Dunn, Trenton Dawson and Brody Grinnell were 5th (9:25.21), Johnson was 5th in the long jump (19-07.50) and Stetter was 6th (19-06.25), Tice was 8th in the 100 meter dash (24.27) and Kreger was 8th in the high jump (5-04).

Tierney Patterson had the highest finish of the day for the Lady Tigers, placing 3rd in the discus (87-04.50).

The girls scored 18.5 points in the meet. Athens won the girls’ meet with 154 points.

The 4x800 meter relay team of Jaclyn Nelson, Madalyn Farrer, Addison Farrer and Madelynne Johns finished 4th (11:21.42), the 4x400 team of Kendelle Holleran, Abaigeal Garverick, Nelson and Anna Kennedy were 6th (4:40.57), the 4x100 relay team of Darby Stetter, Holleran, Kennedy and Tessa Mitchell were 8th (56.36), Kennedy was 8th in the 100 meter dash (13.65), Johns was 8th in the 1600 meter run (6:10.54) and Addison Farrer was 8th in the 3200 (13:44.35).
