The Lady Knights scored twice in the first, three times in the second, and twice in both the fourth and fifth innings to end the game early.

Senior Jordyn Abernathy had two of Wellsboro's four hits to lead the Lady Hornets at the plate. Fellow seniors Maddi Bordas and Mariah Borden added the other hits.

Borden pitched all five innings, allowing 10 runs (2 earned) on eight hits and three walks with a strikeout.

Wellsboro (2-14) is back in action at home on Tuesday against Wyalusing.
