NTL SOFTBALL: WILLIAMSON ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFF CONTENTION WITH LOSS TO CANTON (2023-05-16)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportCANTON — In a must-win game with Canton here Tuesday, Williamson was two-hit and fell 3-0 to the host Lady Warriors, eliminating the Northern Tioga Lady Warriors from playoff eligibility.
Williamson stands at 8-10 on the season with a lone game remaining, Thursday at Northeast Bradford.
Canton scored all three of their runs in the bottom of the second inning and made the lead stand.
Mikenna Buchanan was tagged with the loss for Williamson, throwing six innings and allowing three runs on six hits with three strikeouts.
Gracie Stephens and Emma Meisner had Williamson’s base hits.
