ROME — Williamson struggled in their final game of the season here Thursday, falling 16-1 to Northeast Bradford in four innings.

After a scoreless first inning, NEB scored seven runs in the second inning, six in the third and their final three in the fourth to end the game early. Williamson scored their lone run in the third inning.

Mikenna Buchanan had a base hit and scored Williamson’s run, while Kenna Thomas had an RBI single and Hailie Penner and Lydia Hackett each had a hit.

The Lady Warriors used three pitchers in the game, with Buchanan, Kaegan Short and Thomas spreading 14 hits and five strikeouts across four innings.

Williamson finishes the season with a record of 8-11 and 3-11 in NTL match-ups.
