WELLSBORO TRIO HEADLINES ALL-TIOGA COUNTY GIRLS TRACK & FIELD TEAM (2023-06-17)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — In recognition of the fine performances put forth by our girls Track & Field athletes this past season, Northern Tier West Sports Report presents our All-Tioga County teams and individual award honorees.
Wellsboro’s Annie Gehman won an NTL and a District 4 title in the triple jump and was a consistent threat in both the long jump (4th-NTL, 13th-D4) and the high jump (3rd-NTL) and is the All-Tioga County Outstanding Girls Field Athlete.
Wellsboro’s Sarah Seeling, our First Team 100 and 300 meter hurdler .. finished 3rd at the NTL meet in the 300 and 7th in the 100 .. and a part of the First Team 4x100 meter relay team, is the All-Tioga County Outstanding Girls Track Athlete.
Wellsboro freshman Kristina Belz is the All-Tioga County Outstanding Rookie Girl Athlete, having competed in numerous events for the Hornets (100, 200, 400, 100H, 300H, javelin, high jump, long jump) and finishing 6th at the NTL meet in the high jump and 7th in the long jump.
