Dominick started the school year off by leading his Panthers into the District 4 Playoffs with 1,500 yards passing and 18 total touchdowns during the season, led the NPM defense with three picks and was the Panthers’ punter as well .. was NTWSR All-Tioga County Offensive and Overall Player of the Year; In the Winter, the junior had a season-full of highlights while leading the Tigers to an NTL title, the District finals and into the State playoffs’ Sweet 16. The junior eclipsed 1,000 points this season and scored 19.1 PPG to go with 5.4 RPG, 2.5 APG and 1.9 steals per game and was named to the Class AAA All-State team .. All-Tioga County Player of the Year, The Sports Reports All-Region Basketball Team; This Spring, Dominick led the West with four pitching wins for the 8-12 Tigers, throwing 28 innings with 24 strikeouts.

Cameron Brought, Wellsboro (football / basketball / baseball) sr. .. NTWSR ‘Defensive Player of the Year’ in football .. The senior two-way lineman recorded 100 tackles on the season, had four sacks and two fumble recoveries for the 1-9 Hornets .. Alfred University commit;  first-time starter in basketball averaged 13.2 points and 12 rebounds per game for the 18-7 Hornets .. Sports Reports All-Region defensive team basketball ; NTWSR Offensive and Player of the Year led the Hornets to a 10-11 baseball record with a .485 batting average, .578 OBP, 33 base hits and 31 RBI with seven doubles, three triples and three home runs .. drew 14 walks and scored 22 runs .. went 2-1 with two saves while throwing 28 innings for the Hornets with a 4.69 ERA and 43 strikeouts.

Caden Smith, Wellsboro (soccer / basketball / baseball) jr. .. All-Tioga County First Team striker .. scored 25 goals, had six assists for NTL champs; ran the point for the Hornets and scored 4 points per game, had 79 steals and 113 assists; NTWSR First Team baseball ..  .426 BA, .547 OBP, 26 hits, 28 runs, 12 RBI, 14 SB, 5 2B.

Derek Litzelman, NP-Liberty/NP-Mansfield (football / basketball / baseball) sr. ..  played football his senior season after having played soccer throughout High School and had 13 receptions for 100 yards; NTWSR Offensive Player of the Year in basketball .. scored 20 PPG while also grabbing 8.2 RPG and handing out 4.2 APG as he lead the Mounties back to the District Finals .. was named Class A All-State; In the Spring, hit .418 with a .487 OBP, 28 hits, 20 runs, 19 RBI, 12 stolen bases for the Tigers.

Conner Adams, Wellsboro (football / basketball / baseball) sr. .. was First Team ‘Athlete’ on All-Tioga County Football Team … 548 yds. passing, 138 yds. rushing, 173 yds. receiving, 11 TD; All-Tioga County First Team basketball ..  averaged 13.4 PPG and 6.6 APG; All-Tioga County Defensive Player of the Year in baseball was a vacuum at shortstop and another coach on the field for Dad and Head Coach Steve Adams. The Mansfield commit also hit .400 at the plate and got on base at a .539 clip, collecting 26 base hits, eight RBI, 28 runs scored and 18 stolen bases.

Jordan Vargeson, Cowanesque Valley (golf, basketball, baseball) jr. .. First Team All-Tioga County Golf with 86.89 average; First year playing basketball, scored 9.2 points per game with 13 threes for the Indians; First Team All-Tioga County baseball .. .373 BA, .413 OBP, 22 hits, 11 runs, 18 RBI, 7 2B, 1 HR;

Aiden Gehman, Wellsboro (soccer, track & field, tennis) sr. .. All-Tioga County Goalie with nine shutouts for NTL Champion Hornets; 1st team All-Tioga County in long jump, triple jump, 4x100 relay .. runner-up finish at Districts in long jump to qualify for States; First Team All-Tioga County Tennis .. 11-1 record at No. 1 Doubles.

Peyton McClure, Wellsboro (soccer / basketball / tennis) sr. .. All-State Soccer, NTL Player of the Year .. NTWSR Defensive and Overall Player of the Year for NTL Champion Hornets; In basketball, was NTWSR Defensive Player of the Year .. NTWSR Defensive Player of the Year in basketball .. nabbed 56 steals this season and had three rebounds per game as a guard, often defending the opponent’s best player. He also hit 72 3-pointers on the year and averaged 14.4 PPG; In first season of competitive play, went 15-2 at No. 1 singles for the league champion Hornets .. All-Tioga County Boys’ Tennis Player of the Year.
