COLLEGE SUMMER LEAGUE BASEBALL: CALLAHAN NAMED NYCBL WESTERN ALL-STAR (2023-07-09)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — Wellsboro alum Darryn Callahan has been on a tear for his college summer league team, the Horseheads HItmen, and the soon-to-be Slippery Rock sophomore was selected to play in the NYCBL All-Star Game to be played in Genesee, NY on Monday.
The Hitmen are 7-19 on the season while Callahan is hitting .394 with 26 base hits .. five doubles, four home runs .. 16 runs scored and 13 RBI in 19 games played.
The 2023 NYCBL All-Star Game will be hosted by the Genesee Rapids on Monday, July 10th at 6:30pm at Houghton University.
