TRAVEL SOFTBALL: RAIDERS REACH FINAL 8 AT WORLD SERIES (2023-07-16) Northern Tier West Sports Report COLUMBUS, OH — The PA Raiders competed at the North American All Sanctioned World Series in Columbus, Ohio this weekend, finishing in the top 8 of the 16U Platinum Bracket at the highly touted tournament.
The Raiders rolled through their first four games, collecting 57 base hits .. including six home runs .. and outscoring their opponents 65-0.
As the top seed of the 32-team Platinum Bracket, the Raiders opened with a 3-2 win and then reached the final eight with a 9-2 win before being edged 6-5 and eliminated from the tournament.
The Raiders will next compete at a tournament in Virginia Beach.
