TRAVEL SOFTBALL: LADY REBELS 14U CONTINUE STRONG SUMMER WITH TITLE IN PITTSBURGH (2023-07-18)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportPITTSBURGH — The NY Lady Rebels, featuring a trio of West athletes, continued a strong summer by winning a 14U championship at the Showdown in Steel Town Tournament this past weekend.
Members of the Lady Rebels include Williamson’s Kenna Thomas and Olivia Gee and Cowanesque Valley’s Zeraya Wilson.
The Rebels competed along with 20 teams in Pittsburgh, playing nine games in four days.
The Rebels started their summer season June 23-25 in Oswego, NY, bringing home the championship and outscoring their opponents 38-0. They also went 6-0 and won the title at the Frozen Ropes tournament at The Rock in Chester, NY.
