Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The host Hornets were eliminated from the State 11U softball championship tournament with their second loss .. falling 12-1 to Cambridge/Conneaut Lake/FCVA Saegertown here Sunday.
Wellsboro fell 16-1 to Williamsport on Saturday for their first loss after beating Wallenpaupack 13-3 in the opening round of the tourney on Friday.
Wallenpaupack was also eliminated on Sunday, losing 11-5 to Lower Merion.
West Point will face Williamsport on Monday at 5 p.m., while Lower Merion takes on Cambridge/Conneaut Lake/FCVA Saegertown at 2 p.m.
