NTL GOLF: WELLSBORO FINISHES FIFTH IN LEAGUE MATCH AT TOMASSO'S (2023-09-25)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportCHEMUNG, NY — Hayden Zuchowski and Hannalee Cleveland finished 13th and 14th at the final NTL match of the season Monday at Tomasso’s, leading the Hornets to fifth-place for the week.
Zuchowski shot a 47 and a 42 on the par-69 course for an 89 and 13th place, while Cleveland had a 43 and a 48 for a round of 91 and 14th place.
Silas Jackson and Syler Pietrzyk both shot 106’s to round out Wellsboro’s scoring for the day. Marek Mascho (125) and Henry Nowak (129) shot unsecured rounds for the Hornets.
League champ Athens stayed undefeated on the season with a low-aggregate score of 328, followed by Wyalusing with 345, Towanda with 360, CV with 365, Wellsboro with 392, North Penn-Mansfield with 393 and Sayre with 591.
Wellsboro finishes the season in 4th-place in the NTL with a record of 17-25.
