VARSITY BOYS SOCCER: MOUNTIES FALL 1-0 TO MUNCY (2023-09-26)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — The visiting Muncy Indians would break up a scoreless tie two minutes into the second half here Tuesday and hang on for a 1-0 win over the host Mounties in non-league boys soccer play.
Muncy held a 6-3 edge in shots-on-goal, with keeper Carter Grinnell stopping five shots in goal for NPL.
The loss is NP-Liberty’s fourth straight after five wins in a row and they stand at 7-6 overall on the season. They’re scheduled to visit Towanda on Saturday for a 10 a.m. start.
