NTL VOLLEYBALL: MOUNTIES DOMINANT IN WIN OVER WYALUSING (2023-09-26) Northern Tier West Sports Report LIBERTY — North Penn-Liberty dominated the visiting Lady Rams here Tuesday, limiting Wyalusing to single-digits in two of their three sets and winning 3-0 in a rematch of last season’s District 4 Class AA volleyball final.
The Mounties won the three sets 25-7, 25-9 and 25-14.
Payton Chapel returned to the Mounties’ lineup and had eight kills, while Megan Spohn had 12 assists and three digs, Saige Lehman had four kills and five digs, Haley Litzelman had three kills and 12 service points,
Mckenna Lightner had 10 service points, Ella Swingle had five digs and three kills and Riley Smith had nine digs.
NP-Liberty (7-1, 7-0 NTL) is scheduled to visit Athens on Thursday for the two’s first meeting of the season.
