NTL VOLLEYBALL: MOUNTIES REACH 2A FINALS WITH WIN OVER WELLSBORO (2023-10-31) Northern Tier West Sports Report ATHENS — Second-seeded North Penn-Liberty will play for the District 4 volleyball title after sweeping Wellsboro 3-0 in the Class 2A semifinals here Tuesday.
The Mounties won 25-15, 25-16 and 25-14.
Wellsboro's season comes to a close with the loss and they finish 12-10 on the season.
NP-Liberty will play for the District IV title on Thursday against top-seeded NEB, again in Athens.
