NTL BASKETBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY TOPS CANTON (2024-02-01)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportCANTON — Cowanesque Valley used a big fourth quarter to overcome a 4-point deficit and earn a 42-32 win over the host Canton Warriors Thursday.
Canton led 29-25 after three quarters but CV out-scored Canton 17-3 in the final frame to earn the win and a season sweep of the Warriors.
Larson Swimley, Jordan Vargason and Fletcher Good each had 11 points to lead CV, while Carter Ackley added five points and Kaden Cole and Carsyn Kemp each had two points.
In the final frame CV went 13-for-17 from the free throw line to bring home the win.
