NTL BOYS BASKETBALL: TIGERS CRUISE TO WIN OVER NORTHEAST BRADFORD (2024-02-03)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportROME, Pa — North Penn-Mansfield outscored Northeast Bradford 44-18 over the middle quarters and cruised to a 62-41 win in NTL boys’ basketball action here Saturday.
The game was tied 9-9 after one quarter but the Tigers would hit nine 3-pointers in the game and eight in Mansfield’s 20-5 second and 24-15 third quarters.
Tate Strange hit two threes in the second quarter and four in the third and finished with a game-high 20 points, while Karson Dominick and Cooper Shaw joined Strange in double figures with 19 and 15 points. Jason Harer hit two threes in the game and had six points.
The win snaps a three game losing streak for the Tigers, now 13-6 overall on the season with a 9-4 mark in the NTL and a 4-4 record in the large school division.
North Penn-Mansfield is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday at home against Wyalusing.
