NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON DOMINANT IN LOPSIDED WIN OVER GALETON (2024-02-05)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION, Pa — The Williamson Lady Warriors rolled to a 58-13, mercy-rule win over Galeton in a non-league girls basketball match-up here Monday evening.
Williamson took leads of 16-4 after the first quarter, 30-7 at the break and 42-11 after three quarters of play.
Taylor Rae and Madisen Jones led the Warriors with 13 points each while junior Olivia Meisner joined them in double figures with 12 points and was recognized for grabbing her 500th career rebound for the Warriors.
Kenna Thomas added nine points, Avery Vinsek had six, Bailey Snyder and Olivia Nolan each had two points and Darby Crance chipped in with a point.
Williamson, now 16-3 overall on the season, is scheduled to visit Wyalusing on Wednesday.
