NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: LADY MOUNTIES FALL TO SMALL SCHOOL CHAMP NORTHEAST BRADFORD (2024-02-09) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report LIBERTY — NTL small school champ Northeast Bradford built a double-digit halftime lead on the host Lady Mounties and downed North Penn-Liberty 47-27 in girls basketball action here Friday.
The Lady Panthers took a 9-5 lead after one quarter and extended their lead to 24-13 at the break with a 15-8 second quarter.
Tierney Patterson scored six points in the third quarter but NEB extended the lead to 38-24 before sealing the win with a 9-3 final frame.
Haley Litzelman led the Mounties with 16 points and had a double-double with 11 rebounds and added five blocked shots. Patterson had eight points and eight rebounds, while Kendall Graham added 2 points and Olivia Smith had one point, four rebounds and two blocks.
North Penn-Liberty (8-13, 5-11 NTL, 4-6 NTL-II) has one regular season game remaining .. Tuesday with Muncy.
