Campbell had a double-double in the game with 17 points and 10 boards, including the 500th of his career. The senior also had a pair of assists and a blocked shot.

Loyalsock rolled to a 26-4 lead after a quarter of play before Campbell and Ian Hoose each scored five points in the second to limit the Lancers’ halftime lead to 40-14. 

Hoose finished with 8 points in the loss and added 7 rebounds, while Mitch Lechler had four points and Caden Smith, Jonathan Carl and Isaac Macias each had two points.

Campell scored six points in a 16-12 Lancer third quarter and six more in the Hornets’ 9-7 final frame.

The Hornets, now 12-8 on the season, have a pair of non-league road games remaining before the District 4 playoffs begin .. Monday at Benton and Friday at South Williamsport.
