COLLEGE BASEBALL: WILLIAMSON'S BERKAN EARNS FIRST "W" FOR ELMIRA (2024-03-11)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportELMIRA, NY — Former Williamson pitcher Erik Berkan (’27) recently earned an early season win for the Elmira College Soaring Eagles baseball team.
In the nightcap of a double-header with the University of Valley Forge on February 22nd, Berkan recorded his first collegiate victory on the mound for the Soaring Eagles after tossing 2.2 innings to go along with three strikeouts.
Berkan has made one other appearance for Elmira and has thrown 3.2 innings on the season and has a 4.91 ERA for the 4-5 Eagles.
