Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportMANSFIELD — North Penn-Mansfield senior All-State guard Karson Dominick announced his commitment to Lock Haven to play for the Division 2 PSAC East Champion Bald Eagles.
Dominick made his choice
following a stellar season for the Tigers where the senior scored 25 a game and finished his high school career with 1,810 points .. behind only the legendary Tom McMillen in Mansfield history.
Dominick also led the Tigers with 7 rebounds per game and handed out 3 assists per outing and was Mansfield’s high scorer in every game this season, despite being the center of every opposing team’s defensive plan.
Head Coach Mike Nestor led the Bald Eagles to this season's PSAC East title after securing a 20-7 overall record and 18-4 conference mark. The East title was the first for the program, while the 18 conference wins is a program best and the 20 overall victories was the most since the 1989-90 season.
The historic season led Nestor to his second PSAC East Coach of the Year honor, after earning his first following the 2013-14 season.
