Tice led the Lady Mounties to a 2-0 season start, throwing 2 innings with 3 strikeouts and 2 hits, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored in a 15-0 win over Wellsboro and throwing a 7-inning, 3-hit shutout with 7 K’s while adding 2 hits, a double and 2 runs scored in a 4-0 win over Towanda. The Penn College-commit went over 400 career strikeouts against Towanda.

Davis started the season with a home run, 2 RBI and a run scored against Wellsboro, earning the ‘W’ by going 2 innings and allowing one hit and no earned runs with 3 strikeouts. The junior hit .750 in the Tigers’ final two games of the week .. with 3 hits and two doubles in both Mansfield wins .. adding 2 RBI and 4 1/3 innings pitched against Towanda with 4 K’s on a hit and a walk ..  and 2 runs scored, 1 2/3 innings pitched with 2 strikeouts in the Tigers’ win over Wyalusing.
