Haley Litzelman threw a complete game three-hitter for the Lady Mounties, allowing one unearned run while walking two and striking out 10 Hughesville batters. The sophomore added two of Liberty’s 13 base hits, including a double, and drove in three runs while scoring once. 

Mackenzi Tice had three hits, including a double, with two runs batted in and two runs scored, while Saige Lehman, Payton Chapel, Mckenna Lightner and Megan Span each had two hits with Lehman and Chapel each stroking a double. 

Chapel had three RBI and Lightner had one, while Lehman and Marissa Griess each scored twice and Addie Smith, Chapel, Lightner and Spohn each scored once. 

The Mounties scored a run in the 1st inning, six in the 2nd, one in the 3rd and in the 5th and two in the 6th inning to end the game early.

North Penn-Liberty (3-0) is scheduled to host Troy (2-0) on Tuesday in Mansfield.
