NTL WRESTLING: SEVERAL WEST WRESTLERS EARN ACADEMIC ALL-STAR HONORS (2024-04-24)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association recently released their All-Academic teams at both the District and State level, with a handful of Tioga County wrestlers being recognized.
District IV first team Academic All-Stars are freshman 107-pounder Bryce Pequignot and junior 172-pounder Easton Pequignot from North Penn-Liberty, as well as Williamson sophomore 114-pounder Hunter Simonds.
Liberty junior 121-pounder Brayden Pequignot was named to the District IV second team and freshman teammate Parker Jackson is a third team member at 107 pounds.
Simonds is also a first team sophomore on the State team while Easton Pequignot is a first team junior. Brayden Pequignot is on the third team junior squad.
