LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: WELLSBORO 12U'S TOP SAYRE FOR SHOT AT DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP (2021-07-08) Northern Tier West Sports Report WELLSBORO — The Wellsboro 12u’s finished up their suspended game from Wednesday on Thursday, coming out on top of Sayre 6-5 and earning a rematch with Athens in the District 15 finals.
Down 5-4 when the game was suspended, Wellsboro picked up the win and now visits Athens on Friday at 6:00 p.m. Athens topped Wellsboro Monday by a 12-2 score.
