Northern Tier WEST Sports Report
BETHANY, WV — Former North Penn-Mansfield/North Penn-Liberty multi-sport standout Grace Tice recently concluded her collegiate athletic career for Bethany College by earning All-American honors as a javelin thrower for the Bison.

In her second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Tice threw a 41.41m mark to put her in the finals and earned her All-American Second Team honors with a 9th place finish.

She entered the Championship as the four seed, after throwing a PAC and school record mark of 44.57m at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Outdoor Championships in late April.

Tice was a four-year member of Bethany's women's volleyball and track & field programs and a four-time PAC Champion with back-to-back championships in volleyball and javelin and is the first female in Bison track history to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in back-to-back seasons. She has been lauded as a member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll four times.

On May 11, Tice graduated with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and will attend St. George's University in Grenada to obtain a doctorate in veterinary medicine.
