COLLEGE BASEBALL: WELLSBORO'S ADAMS ENJOYS SUCCESSFUL FIRST SEASON AT MU (2024-06-02)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportMANSFIELD, PA — Former Wellsboro Hornet standout Conner Adams got his first season of college baseball under his belt as a contributing freshman for the Mansfield University Mountaineers.
Adams played in 19 games for the 15-31 Mounties and finished with a .400 batting average, an on-base-percentage of .455 with eight base hits, two stolen bases, two RBI and three runs scored.
The freshman infielder had his best game in a 10-9 win over PSAC-foe Kutztown, collecting three base hits, a stolen base and a run scored.
