LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL/SOFTBALL ROUND-UP (2024-06-15) Northern Tier WEST Sports Report TIOGA COUNTY — The PA District 15 Little League All-Star baseball and softball post-seasons kicked off on Friday with numerous West squads in action.
In Major Softball play, Southern Tioga lost 13-3 at Canton (Leroy), while Wellsboro fell 10-5 to Troy. Southern Tioga is scheduled to host Wellsboro on Saturday while Canton visits Troy.
The Tioga-Lawrenceville senior baseball team opened with a 15-0 loss to Athens, They’ll visit Southern Tioga on Saturday at 10 a.m.
In 10U baseball, Southern Tioga beat Troy 16-3. The Elkland Minors will host Troy Sunday and Southern Tioga will host Elkland on Tuesday.
