The Wellsboro 12U (majors) softball team (the No. 4 team out of the West pool) fell in their first tournament game 13-3 to Towanda (1East) while Southern Tioga (3West) lost 11-0 to Susquehanna County (2East).

Both Southern Tioga and Wellsboro fall into the consolation bracket, where ST will host Athens (4E) and Wellsboro will visit RTL (3E) .. both on Thursday at 6 p.m.

In 10U (minors) softball, Southern Tioga beat Wellsboro 16-6. On Wednesday, ST will host Canton and Wellsboro visits Troy.

In 10U (minor) baseball action, Southern Tioga beat Elkland 12-0 in both’s final pool play game. Elkland (3W) will visit Canton (2MW) on Thursday to start bracket play. The winner will advance to face Southern Tioga (1W) on Saturday.

The Wellsboro major baseball team beat Allegheny Mountain 5-2 in each’s first pool play game. With the two being alone in the West pool, they’ll play again on Friday, in Wellsboro.

In 11U baseball, Tioga Lawrenceville lost 10-5 to Athens and Wellsboro lost 18-8 to Susquehanna County. Both will be on the road Thursday as Wellsboro visits Athens and TL goes to Susquehanna County.

Southern Tioga (2) beat Tioga Lawrenceville (3) 23-9 in the first senior baseball bracket game. ST will visit Athens (1) on Thursday.
