COLLEGE BASEBALL: NP-MANSFIELD'S ALEX DAVIS TO PLAY AT PENN STATE HARRISBURG (2024-07-30)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD, PA — North Penn-Mansfield's Alex Davis, the 2024 All-Tioga County Baseball Player of the Year, recently announced his decision to attend and play baseball at Penn State Harrisburg following his 2025 graduation.
Davis led the Tigers to a five-win improvement in 2024 and put up an impressive final stat line .. a .391 batting average and .506 OBP, 25 base hits (8 doubles, 3 home runs), 25 runs scored, 12 walks drawn, 11 RBI and 18 stolen bases while also going 4-1 on the mound with two saves over his 40 regular season innings pitched with a 1.60 ERA and over a strikeout per inning thrown.
Davis joins a successful Penn State Harrisburg squad, which is coached by Canton alum Ryan Bown.
