Neal had an area-best high jump of 5-06, giving him the first-team spot on the All-West team, and placed second in the NTL and brought home an eighth-place medal from Districts in the long jump with a season-best leap of 20-06.25. 

The All-Tioga County boys’ Track Athlete of the Year is North Penn-Mansfield’s Noah Shedden. The senior swept the 1600 and the 3200 meter runs at the NTL Invite, then brought home two medals from the District IV meet — a silver in the 3200 that qualified Shedden for the state meet, and a seventh place medal in the 1600. Shedden finished in 16th place at the state meet in the 3200 with a time of 10:05.99.

The All-Tioga County Field Rookie of the Year is North Penn-Mansfield thrower Brody Burleigh. The sophomore placed second in the javelin at the NTL Coaches Invite, then brought home a fifth-place medal from the District IV championships with a toss of 150-11.

Williamson’s Owen Cummings is our All-Tioga County Track Rookie of the Year. The freshman distance specialist finished fourth in the 800 meter run at the NTL Coaches Invite, then focused on the 1600 at the District IV meet, finishing second there and then placing 20th at the PIAA meet.
