NTL GOLF: CV SIXTH AT WEEK 3 MATCH IN TOWANDA (2024-08-29)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTOWANDA — In the third NTL match of the 2024 golf season, held at Towanda Country Club on Thursday, Cowanesque Valley placed sixth.
Athens won for the third straight week with a 338, followed by Towanda (341) and NP-Mansfield (341), Wyalusing (361), Wellsboro (380), CV (424) and Sayre (531).
Danny Smith led the way for CV with a 100 while Laila Hackett had a 106, Brent Watkins had a 107 and Ashtyn Burdick shot a 111 to complete the Indians’ scoring.
Lucas Hamilton (113) and Kaden Mascho (115) completed non-scored rounds.
CV will return to play in next week’s league match on Tuesday at Corey Creek, hosted by North Penn-Mansfield.
