NTL GOLF: HORNETS FINISH 5TH AT TOWANDA COUNTRY CLUB (2024-08-29)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportTOWANDA — In the third match of the 2024 NTL golf season at Towanda Country Club Thursday, Wellsboro finished in 5th place .. the Hornets’ highest finish after placing 6th the first two weeks.
Athens won for the third straight week with a 338, followed by Towanda (341) and NP-Mansfield (341), Wyalusing (361), Wellsboro (380), CV (424) and Sayre (531).
Syler Pietrzyk led Wellsboro with a round of 89 while Chase Schultz had a 90, Marek Mascho shot a 100 and Logan Johnson had a 101.
Kieran Whitsell (110) and Gideon Lawton (114) shot unscored rounds for the Hornets.
