HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: MOUNTIES EARN NON-LEAGUE WIN AT GALETON (2024-08-30)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportGALETON — The host Tigers took the first set from North Penn-Liberty here Friday, but the Lady Mounties rallied and won the non-league match 3-1.
Galeton edged the Mounties 28-26 in the first set, followed by three straight wins by NP-Liberty .. 25-14, 28-26 and 25-15.
Sophomore Claire Dominick led the Mounties with 11 kills on the night, while junior Kam Lightner had 21 digs, Addison Weightman had 20 assists, senior Rylie Smith had 23 serve receptions and senior Maddy Youmans had six aces.
The Mounties, now 3-0 on the season, are scheduled to visit Williamsport on Tuesday.
