Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — This week’s Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are Wellsboro cross country runner Lauren Kosek and Hornet soccer player Micaiah Fitch.
Sophomore Lauren Kosek ran a personal best 19:41 to win the girls’ race at the Lasagna Invite at Wyalusing.
Senior Micaiah Fitch scored the Hornets’ only goal in their 1-0 win over Athens, had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over Liberty and assisted on Wellsboro’s lone goal in an overtime loss to Milton.
