Lucas Cuneo opened the scoring less than three minutes in and David Seeling made it 2-0 two minutes later with a goal off an assist from Jude Cuneo. 

Jack Bryant scored midway through the first half .. again assisted by Jude Cuneo .. and Troy got their first goal with five minutes left in the half. 

Up 3-1, Alex Citrino scored at the 23:21 mark of the second half and Troy added their final score three minutes later and Wellsboro led 4-2. 

Fitch scored the next three goals .. with the second assisted on by Seeling and the third by Lucas Cuneo. Micah Vickery found the net with less than a minute left in the game to provide the final.

The Hornets outshot Troy 21-4 and held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks. 

Keeper Camden Tom had two saves in goal for Wellsboro. 

“We haven’t been as crisp in our two games this week,” said Head Coach Todd Fitch, “but the boys are getting pressure on the ball, creating goal scoring opportunities, and continuing to adapt to a playing surface away from home. We’re looking forward to getting back home on our field next weekend .”

The Hornets improve to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the NTL with the win. They’ll return to action next Wednesday at Northeast Bradford.
