Northern Tier West Sports ReportATHENS — North Penn-Liberty was outshot 16-4 but the Mounties earned a 1-1 draw with the Athens Wildcats in NTL boys soccer action Friday night.
Brady Stetter scored Liberty’s lone goal off an assist from Ayden Wheeland.
Keeper Deakon Valentine collected 15 saves in net for the Mounties and NPL held a 9-8 edge in corner kicks.
North Penn-Liberty (4-3-1) is next scheduled to visit Williamson on Wednesday.
