HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: WELLSBORO PICKS UP NON-LEAGUE WIN AT HUGHESVILLE (2024-09-16)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportHUGHESVILLE — The Wellsboro varsity volleyball team earned a non-league win Monday, sweeping the host Hughesville Spartans 3-0.
The Hornets won 25-16, 25-15 and 25-14.
Paige Logsdon had 13 kills and added seven service points with three aces, while Lexi Urena had five kills, six digs and two blocks.
Taylor Main had 10 assists and 10 points with an ace, Maddy Cuttenden had 10 digs and 10 points with two aces, Ellie Largey had six assists and Blake Eckhart and Brooke Wheeler each had two kills.
Wellsboro, now 7-1 on the season, will return to action Tuesday when they host Troy.
