NTL GIRLS SOCCER: WILLIAMSON BLANKS NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD 2-0 (2024-09-17)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — Williamson scored a goal in each half and shut the Lady Tigers out to earn a 2-0 NTL win in girls’ soccer play on Tuesday.
Anna Lee scored off a Maddy Bailey assist in the first half and Robyn Cummings scored with 10 minutes left in the game on an assist from Zeraya Wilson to lead the Lady Warriors to the win.
Williamson held a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks and outshot North Penn-Mansfield 16-6.
Williamson keeper Ashley Woodring had seven saves while Avalon Rew had 10 saves and Adalyne Yungwirth had four stops for the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Warriors even their record at 4-4 with the win while NP-Mansfield drops to 0-6-1. Williamson is set to host Towanda on Thursday while Mansfield hosts Troy, also on Thursday.
