Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Wellsboro boys Cross Country team ran to a pair of wins here Tuesday, beating both North Penn-Mansfield and Sullivan County while the Tigers went 0-2.
The Hornets scored 27-29 wins over both North Penn-Mansfield and Sullivan County, while Sullivan County beat Mansfield, 24-32.
NP-Mansfield’s Michael Knefley won in 19:00.94 and Wellsboro’s Max Macias was second in 19:36.87.
Wellsboro’s Henry Whitney was third (20:15.04), Ethan Geneski was 10th (23:38), Lane Cozby (24:42) was 11th, Jack Hammerton (25:44) was 13th, and Henry Nowak (27:05) was 14th.
For NPM, Braden VanLoon was seventh (22:40.72), Cedric Miller (23:22.16) was ninth and Isaiah VanLoon was 12th (25:32.33).
