Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The North Penn-Mansfield girls cross country team picked up a pair of wins on Tuesday, topping Sullivan County and the host Hornets, who went 0-2.
Wellsboro’s Lauren Kosek took home the top spot with a time of 21:37 while Jaci Fairchild paced the Tigers with a second-place finish in 23:17.71.
Carolyn Cherwinski finished sixth (27:10.66) for the Tigers, Nora Furry was eighth (27:50.81), Kendelle Holleran was ninth (28:07.89), Moira Wheeler (28:59.28) was 10th, Alivia Lisowski (31:27.63) finished 12th and Layla Lowry was 18th (40:40.33).
For Wellsboro, Sophia Yoder (27:24) was 7th, Karah Blackwell (30:41) was 11th, Anja Przybycien (31:31) finished 13th and Luisa Crocco (34:53) was 15th.
