NTL GOLF: NP-MANSFIELD 2ND, WELLSBORO 5TH and CV 6TH AT WEEK 6 LEAGUE MATCH (2024-09-16)
Northern Tier West Sports ReportWAVERLY, NY — The NTL held their 6th league match of the season Monday at Shepard Hills Country Club, where North Penn-Mansfield finished 2nd, Wellsboro was 5th and Cowanesque Valley was 6th.
Athens won with a four-player aggregate score of 318, followed by NP-Mansfield (333), Wyalusing (345), Towanda (347), Wellsboro (353), CV (376) and Sayre (468).
Tate Strange led the Tigers to their runner-up finish with a round of 73, collecting six birdies and six pars. Andy Hermansen had an 84, while Alex Kalamaris shot an 87, Alex Davis and Talon D’Angelo each had an 89 and Collin Oakes had a 101.
For Wellsboro, Syler Pietrzyk had a team-low 87 while Gideon Lawton and Chase Schultz each had an 88, Marek Mascho shot a 90, Kieran Whitsell had a 98 and Logan Johnson had a 115.
CV was led by Danny Smith’s 84, followed by Laila Hackett with a 96, Lucas Hamilton with a 97, Ashtyn Burdick with a 99, Nate Adkins with a 107 and Katey Huzey’s 109.
The NTL’s final regular season match will return to Shepard Hills on Monday, September 23rd.
