Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Lady Hornets dropped the third set to Coudersport but rallied for a 25-12 win in the fourth to earn a 3-1 win over the Lady Falcons here Saturday.
Wellsboro won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-23 before falling 25-19 in the third.
Lexi Urena collected 11 kills on the day and added 17 digs, a solo and two assisted blocks and eight service points with five aces. Paige Logsdon had six kills and two solo and an assisted block and Blake Eckart had five kills, 15 digs and two blocks.
Maddy Cruttenden had 24 digs and 17 service points with four aces, Ellie Largey had 14 assists and Taylor Main had nine.
The Hornets (8-2) are scheduled to return to play on Tuesday at home against Towanda.
