HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER: WILLIAMSON TOPS CAMPELL-SAVONA FOR 4TH STRAIGHT WIN (2024-09-21)
Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION, PA — Williamson got a hat trick from Maddie Bailey and shut out visiting Campbell-Savona 5-0 for their 4th straight win in a non-league girls soccer match-up here Saturday.
The Warriors went up 4-0 in the first half as Anna Lee scored, Bailey netted two goals and Zeraya Wilson added a goal. Bailey added her 3rd goal in the second half to complete the hat trick.
Bailey assisted on Wilson’s goal while Lee had two helpers and Ella Churchill and Wilson each had an assist.
Williamson had 33 shots by 12 different players in the match while limiting C-S to one shot .. saved by keeper Ashley Woodring to get the clean sheet.
Head Coach Felisha Hackett said about the match, “Our defense was on point today .. like always .. and our shots are looking better each game.”
Williamson moves to 6-4 on the season with the win. They’re scheduled to visit the 9-1 Troy Lady Trojans on Tuesday.
