Northern Tier WEST Sports ReportLIBERTY — The Lady Mounties snapped a two-match losing streak and swept the visiting Galeton Tigers 3-0 in non-league volleyball action here Tuesday.
North Penn-Liberty won in straight sets .. 25-19, 25-14 and 25-17.
Junior Haley Litzelman led the way with 7 aces, 5 kills and a dig while senior Maddy Youmans had 11 assists, a kill and 5 digs, senior Rylie Smith had a kill and 7 digs and senior Addison Weightman had 2 aces, 7 assists and a dig.
Sophomore Kameron Lightner had an ace, 7 kills and 4 digs, sophomore Claire Dominick had 3 aces, 4 kills and a dig, sophomore Kendall Graham had 3 kills, senior Kaylee Graham had an assist and a block, senior Phoebe Ruth had an assist, a kill and a dig, sophomore Madison Smith had an assist and 2 digs and sophomore Gabriella Bubeck had a kill and 3 digs.
The Mounties, now 6-3 on the season, are scheduled to visit league foe Wellsboro on Thursday.
